Family Sues Clackamas County for Shooting of Derrick Dewayne Clark Jr.

PORTLAND, OR. – Today, after a months long investigation conducted by the Herrmann Law Group, a civil rights action was filed on behalf of Derrick Dewayne Clark Jr.’s family, against Clackamas County, its deputies, and an Oregon State Patrol officer alleging allegations of excessive force, failure to provide medical care, assault, battery and negligence.

Herrmann Law Group, a Washington state law firm, is partnering with renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump to represent the Clark family. This collaboration builds on their previous successful joint efforts in addressing cases related to police shootings.

Boeing Pleads Not Guilty in Texas

[Seattle, Washington, January 26 2023] Charles Herrmann and Mo Hamoudi traveled to Texas today representing 153 surviving family members who could not appear to speak on behalf of their loved ones who perished in two air crashes as a result of Boeing’s criminal conduct. The first in Indonesia and then in Ethiopia less than 5 months later.

Boeing entered a plea of not guilty today in federal court in the Northern District of Texas despite findings by the Honorable Reed Charles O’Connor that Boeing directly and proximately caused the death of 189 passengers on Lion Air Flight 610 and a 157 passengers on Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 as a result of fraud perpetuated on the United States government FAA.

Family Sues Clark County in Shooting of Unarmed Man

VANCOUVER, WA. – Today Mark Lindquist of Herrmann Law Group filed a federal lawsuit against Clark County on behalf of the family of Jenoah Donald, an unarmed African-American man who was shot and killed by a Clark County Sheriff’s Deputy during a traffic stop on February 4, 2021.

The wrongful death lawsuit alleges assault and battery, negligence, and deprivation of civil rights. Further, the lawsuit states, “Clark County has a policy, custom, and established practice of failing to train its officers to use deadly force only as a last resort.”

Herrmann Law Group Files Lawsuit for Family of Drowned Child

SEATTLE, WASH. – The Herrmann Law Group filed a lawsuit against Cave B Estate Winery in Quincy, Washington, for the drowning death of a 10-year-old girl in July of this year.

While in shallow water of a swimming area, the girl was sucked into an inlet pipe. Two of the victim’s siblings saw her go under the water as she was dragged down by the suction. Her younger sister tried to save her, but did not have the strength. Her older brother was too far away.

Widow Sues Moody Aviation for Deadly Air Crash

Today the Herrmann Law Group filed suit in Spokane County Superior Court on behalf of Ms. Yuki Lee and her infant daughter against Moody Aviation College for the death of her husband Joochan Lee in an air crash near Deer Park on July 13, 2018. The aviation school is owned and operated by The Moody Bible Institute of Chicago.

Herrmann Law sues Boeing for Lion Air crash

Today the Herrmann Law Group filed a lawsuit against The Boeing Company on behalf of the families of 17 victims who died in the crash of a Boeing 737 operated by Lion Air. The complaint alleges that Boeing equipment failed, and that Boeing failed to properly inform pilots about the presence and dangers of a new automated system installed on the aircraft.
